On Thursday 10 October 2024, we hosted an Expert Session on Responsible Management of Brand Promoters, featuring esteemed experts from L’Oréal and the Fair Labor Association.
During the session, we explored how the responsible management of brand promoters can drive meaningful change for both businesses and worker. Brand promoters, often working in retail settings, play a crucial role in representing products and services. Their management should align with HRDD frameworks to ensure their rights are respected and protected. L’Oréal shared its journey in implementing responsible management practices for its brand promoters. This serves as an exemplary model for how companies can take proactive steps in ensuring the well-being of their third-party workers. We introduced new guidelines to offer practical solutions for integrating human rights principles into everyday operations.
Expert Speakers:
- Julie Vallat, Vice President of Human Rights at L’Oréal
- Nisha Terumalai, Project Manager at the Fair Labor Association
