We are pleased to announce that The Consumer Goods Forum’s first Responsible Operations and Sourcing event, supported by AIM-PROGRESS & ELEVATE will take place in Bangkok, Thailand on 25th September 2017.
The purpose of the event is for Thai based suppliers and business partners of CGF and AIM-PROGRESS members to learn more about the consumer goods industry’s responsible sourcing expectations, and to better understand The Consumer Goods Forum’s Forced Labour Priority Industry Principles against forced labour and how they can be better implemented into business operations.
Attendees will receive practical takeaways, tools and strategies during hands-on interactive workshops addressing common issues and challenges faced in own operations, as well as changes in the regulatory environment. Workshops will focus on topics such as ethical recruitment practices, freedom of movement, working hours, responsible operations and sourcing obligations. Attendees will also benefit from peer-to-peer exchange on best practices, and have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions on the key issues.
