In fall 2021, The Consumer Goods Forum’s (CGF) Human Rights Coalition – Working to End Forced Labour (HRC) has been pleased to welcome two new members: Neste and REWE Group. The addition of these two members brings the Coalition’s membership to 27 CGF members committed to helping achieve fair and decent working conditions worldwide by driving individual and collective action in their businesses and supply chains to eradicate forced labour. 

The 27 members of the HRC are Asia Pulp and Paper, Danone, Essity, Ferrero, Heineken, Jerónimo Martins, L’Oréal, Mars, Inc., Marks and Spencer, McCormick & Co., METRO AG, Mondelēz International, Neste, Nestlé, PepsiCo, RB, REWE Group, Sainsbury’s, Starbucks, Tesco, The Coca-Cola Company, The J.M. Smucker Company, The Kellogg Company, Unilever, Upfield, and Walmart.

The work of the HRC continues the CGF’s long history of engagement on the issue of forced labour within consumer goods supply chains by building on the CGF’s Social Resolution on Forced Labour, the first of its kind in the industry; its Priority Industry Principles, and ongoing relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
