In April 2020, The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) officially launched its Collaboration for Healthier Lives (CHL) Coalition of Action to work towards inspiring healthier behaviours in stores and communities across the globe.
Led by manufacturers and retailers, in partnership with public health authorities, local communities, academia and other stakeholders, the Coalition has continuously sought ways to help people make healthier decisions every day to make it easier for them to take care of themselves and their families.
Signing up ahead of its official launch, the 31 CGF members kicking off the CHL Coalition were: Ahold Delhaize, Ajinomoto, Barilla, Carrefour, The Coca-Cola Company, Danone, Douglas, General Mills, Grupo Bimbo, Grupo Exito, GSK, ICA, Johnson & Johnson, Jeronimo Martins, Land O’ Lakes, Lawson, Marks & Spencer, Mars, Incorporated, Migros Ticaret, Nestlé, New, Hope Liuhe, NTUC Fairprice, Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Pick n Pay, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Unilever, Walmart, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and X5.
Since the 2020 launch, eight new members have joined the Coalition, bringing the total number of CHL member companies to date to 39. The newest members are: AS Watson, Bel Group, Grupo Alen, IFA Retail, Kellogg’s, Magnit, Majid Al Futtaim, and McCormick & Company.
In a time where global health challenges are top of mind, CHL Coalition members are more than ever committed to further drive collaboration at scale to positively impact the health and wellbeing of people around the world.
