Members of The Consumer Goods Forum’s (CGF’s) Product Data coalition and a select group of supply chain professionals from the FMCG industry returned to Barcelona-Sitges for the latest in-person WinterComes event on the 26th and 27th September, 2022. The following companies attended the event – Capgemini, D-Wave Systems, Google, GS1 Global, Impact Buying, Incept, inoqo, Jerónimo Martins, Maersk, Metro Group, Migros Turkey, Nagel Group, PepsiCo, Pure Value, P&G, SPAR International, SyncForce, The Coca-Cola Company and Winkler Technologies. Topics on the agenda were supply chain volatility, sustainability, and the role of master data in addressing today’s challenges.
The event took place in Masia Cabellut, Sitges with a visit to the port of Barcelona, kindly sponsored by Maersk where participants had the opportunity to tour a warehouse on the port and to see in real time the on-the-ground challenges in warehousing, logistics and transportation.
During the event, the overall strategic direction of the CGF’s Product Data coalition was discussed including how meeting the needs of the modern consumer will require developing the next generation of product data management capabilities across the value chain.

The CGF’s End-to-End Value Chain initiative’s SummerComes-WinterComes events are a series of bi-annual, bi-continental events to take place on rotation in winter and summer in New York/Shanghai and Barcelona respectively.
