The Consumer Goods Forum is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming FTA Multi-Stakeholder Forum, “Enhancing Social Performance in Thai Supply Chains’ in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday 21st September. CGF’s Social Sustainability Director, Didier Bergeret, has been invited to speak at the event organised by the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce of the Royal Government of Thailand. Didier will be speaking with other panellists on Why Implementing Responsible Recruitment Practices Makes Business-Sense.
The Forum marks the start of an initiative that the FTA is running alongside the Thai Ministry of Commerce with the aim to support Thai companies to incorporate social compliance systems in their operations and supply chains, in line with requirements of exporting markets. The initiative aims to build on progress made by the Royal Government of Thailand to encourage an ethical business culture in the country and aims to inspire companies to engage fully with responsible practices.
