We are pleased to announce that we have recently partnered with Reuters Events to support their upcoming event, “Transform Supply Chains USA 2022”, which takes place in Chicago on 1-2 November. The event brings together all key actors along the supply chain (sustainability, procurement, supply chains, sourcing, operations) to share ideas, identify potential collaborations, determine strategies for 2023 and beyond, and share the “how-to” on driving action. CGF sustainability directors Ignacio Gavilan and Didier Bergeret will join the high-level speakers addressing these important topics.
As a unique CEO-led organisation committed to driving positive change and delivering meaningful impact at scale through collective action, we have identified Transform Supply Chains USA 2022 as a key platform for engaging both members and prospective members in North America on topics central to our work, including reducing plastic waste and progressing circularity, and improving conditions for workers through the implementation of Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) systems. These two topics will be central to the discussions being led by Ignacio and Didier, respectively.
We all know where supply chains need to be heading – digitally robust, fully transparent with an engaged supplier system, and a future-proofed decarbonisation action plan. Some companies are closer than others, but there is still a lot of improvements and investments still to be made.
That’s why Reuters Events: Transform Supply Chains USA is delving into the key issues and providing two-days of frank and honest discussions on how companies can invest, innovate, and collaborate to drive real transformative change across their supply chain.
