The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF)s Health & Wellness Director Sharon Bligh took part in a panel discussion on 11 June, hosted by CGF member, Barilla. The session, moderated by Food Industry Asia and entitled ‘Nutrition and Well-being of People’ aimed to bring partners and experts together to better understand the state of nutrition in the region and discuss the progress that has been made.
The first Asian-edition of Barilla’s annual summit ‘Insieme Day’, organised ahead of the CGF Global Summit in Singapore, gathered a diverse set of thought leaders, innovators and disruptors across the nutrition and transparency spectrums to discuss the key challenges in the food systems in the Asia, Middle East and Africa.
“Guido Barilla gave a clear call to action to everyone that the time to act is now on health and wellness. The challenges are too large to tackle alone so multi stakeholder collaboration is a key component to empower healthier people globally” said Sharon.
The CGF is thrilled to have joined Barilla as a key driver around nutrition, transparency and how companies can build a sustainable food system.
