E2E SpringBoard events are off-site events, hosted by member companies to provide hands-on experience of new technologies. The aim of these events is to empower decision makers from retail and manufacturing companies who want to enter discussions about the strategic implications of new technologies for their business. The Cosumer Goods Forum’s End-to-End Value Chain (E2E) Pillar held three SpringBoard events in September 2019. A “Data Accelerator” SpringBoard was held on 5th-6th September in Sunnyvale, USA, kindly hosted by Plug&Play Tech Center, which saw experts coming together to delve into all things data as it relates to the value chain. This followed the bi-annual E2E Steering Committee meeting also held in Sunnyvale. Later in the month, the first Latin American SpringBoard was held on 12th-13th September in Bogotá, Colombia, kindly hosted by Logyca. This marked the first of a series of Spanish speaking workshops that will take place over the next 12 months in the region. Finally, in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, experts gathered for a SpringBoard on “The Future of Supply Chain Transparency” kindly hosted by KPMG on 26th-27th September.
