4 Per 1000 Soil Regeneration Initiative

Launched at COP21 in 2015, “4 per 1000” aims to show that the regeneration of agricultural soils can build resilience and sequester carbon. The initiative encourages public and private sector stakeholders to adopt soil carbon management techniques such as agroecology, agroforestry, conservation agriculture, and landscape management.
