Since its official launch in early 2020, The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) Plastic Waste Coalition has been pleased to welcome five new members: Ferrero, Grupo AlEn, Lenta, McCain Foods and Refresco. The addition of these five members brings the Coalition’s membership to 41 CGF members committed to tackle the plastic pollution challenge and help advance a world where no plastic waste ends up in nature.

The Coalition of Action on Plastic Waste was founded in 2020 with the aim of developing a more circular approach to the development and processing of plastic packaging in the consumer goods industry. The development of the Coalition builds off the CGF’s 2018 endorsement of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastics Economy Global Commitment vision.
